You are about to begin an exciting project that can be viewed on the Internet by anyone in the world. 

Your project will teach other people about something you are interested in and enjoy.

First we will look at some projects that were done by students and talk about them:

  • What do you think the students had to do to create successful projects?
  • What do you like about the projects we saw?
  • How could you do these projects better?


    Next, we will learn how to use Microsoft Word. Follow my instructions exactly as I give them.
     

    a. Make a table that has two columns.

    b. Label the columns:

    •     What we want to know about this topics

    b. Childhood information: Where person grew up. schools attended, interests, etc.

    c. How this person's career got started.

    d. Why is this person famous? What does he/she do?

    e. Awards this person has won

    f. If person is a musician, what songs, instruments is this person known for. If person plays a sport--what sport, what team(s), what position(s), etc.

    If person is no longer alive, when and where did he/she die. What did he/she die of (ex. cancer, heart attack, etc..)

    a. What were the first video games, and when did video games start ?

    b. Who creates video games?

    c. How are video games created?

    d. What are the most popular video games?

    e. Pick a video game and explain how to play it. What is the object of the game? Who are the characters? What skills do you need to have to play the game?
