Students have free choice of project topics. Topics chosen according to personal interest. Potentially topics could have an impact on the community.

Teachers and students learn together. Everyone is a learner. Everyone is a teacher.

Students teach other other students about a topic in which they are interested.

Students and teacher make connections between California Content Standards and a personal interested or community need.

Students create projects for an audience that goes beyond their school such as presentation at an educational conference, , Web publicaion, entering the project into the CA Media and Multimedia Festival or other competition or award.
